I'm a product designer and design manager based in San Francisco. Right now I lead the design team at TruckSmarter, where we build mobile and web tools for truck drivers who run their own businesses — helping them find better loads, get paid faster, and spend less time buried in email and phone calls. I joined as a product designer in 2023 and now manage a small but mighty team shipping everything from an AI dispatching product to a free load board.

I've been designing for the better part of two decades, and my path has taken me through a lot of different rooms. I was the founding (and only) designer at Kohort, an AI-assisted video meeting platform, where I owned everything from branding to product strategy. Before that I led design for premium subscription features at Strava, built the operational tools behind Scoot's shared electric vehicle fleet across three continents, and spent three and a half years at Pivotal designing lean products for brands like Volkswagen, Harley-Davidson, Ray-Ban, and Samsung.‍ ‍

I got my start in Toronto — first at a small flash dev studio building everything from enterprise apps to Webkinz games, then at an agile consultancy, with a stint teaching UX to college students along the way. I also took six months off to be a full-time parent, which was its own kind of design challenge.

What keeps me going: small teams, fast feedback loops, shipping often, and building for people who are usually overlooked by tech.
